Von Saltiel 10th Annual Reunion - Caraá Brazil

One of our most exciting discoveries has been the “von” Saltiels of Southern Brazil. Founded by a single ancestor in the 1870s, they were unknown to us until Vibeke Sealtiël Olsen of Amsterdam found Liege Saltiel Webber of Porto Alegre on the Internet. After many emotional preliminaries involving the family in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, the US and Venezuela, we finally got together in Porto Alegre in November 2003.
