The articles set out below are in the main the work of Vibeke Sealtiël Olsen over the course of the last decade and a half.
She wrote them as her a tribute to the family she discovered to her horror to be largely vanished, when she arrived in Amsterdam in 1992 to follow her studies.
Vibeke went on the play a leading part in assembling—indeed of reinventing—the international network of the Shealtiels.
