First of all

This card was sent from the Capon family of Thessalonika.
I thought it was so handsome that I wanted to pass it on as the family’s greeting,
with full acknowledgements to the Capons and the copyright holder.

A very happy New Year from Philippe, Flor, Miles and all on the committee

Time to book the seventh international reunion: New York—2012

Our New Year newsletter is devoted to a single topic – next year’s reunion.
(I will follow up with family news shortly)

The headline price may have crept up to $1050 – but for that you get a big bite out of the Big Apple. Come and celebrate our heritage in the Big Apple! From July 25th to July 29th Shealtiels from around the world are joining together to meet new relatives, catch up with old ones, acknowledge our heritage, and explore New York City!

What better way to visit one of the greatest cities in the world than with your (extended) family? We have exciting events planned, including a boat dinner cruise, a visit to Ellis Island and the beautiful Statue of Liberty, a Shabbat Service, and “Saltiel’s Got Talent” where the new and old Saltiels can show just how talented our namesakes really are.

Your visit fee includes four hotel nights (with breakfast), meals with water at restaurants, refreshments as programmed, buses, guides, museum tickets, conference rooms, and pins and bags. Please join us in July 2012 for a reunion you’ll never forget!

Please click here for a description of the reunion, together with booking forms.
